Jeep Parts And Accessories Adelaide: Staying One step Ahead

In Borneo, scientists have very recently discovered a small group of one of the world’s most endangered primates, Miller’s grizzled langurs. A species some had worried was already extinct. Populations of these monkeys were only first discovered in 1985, and since then their numbers have been shrinking.  And due to loss of habitat and hunting they have disappeared completely from several areas of Borneo.

Now, animals can become extinct for a number of reasons. The Tasmanian tiger was considered a threat to livestock so the government put a bounty on its head, leading to it being over-hunted (it also couldn’t compete with the newly introduced dog population).

The poor old dodo, evolved in isolation in Mauritius, so had no fear of humans and couldn’t fly, making it especially vulnerable to hungry hunters and flash floods.

The Galapagos giant tortoise, although perfectly adapted to its relaxed island life, had the misfortune of being considered the most delicious meat ever tasted by early visitors to the islands. So much so, that they were very nearly eaten to extinction. Luckily a few tortoises managed to survive the feeding frenzy. The same, unfortunately, can’t be said for the very unlucky Stephens Island wren. Legend has it that these small, flightless birds were gobbled to extinction in the winter of 1895 by Tibbles, the lighthouse keeper’s cat.

Now, there’s not a lot those wrens could have done about Tibbles, but one thing a lot of extinct species seem to have in common is the inability to adapt quickly enough to new threats or surroundings.

This is one thing that Jeep is not afraid of. Constantly developing and researching new ideas, Jeep stays one step ahead of its predators. The only way to insure survival. And although the Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited, Compass Adelaide, Patriot, Grand Cherokee and Cherokee could be considered so tasty everyone will want one, there are enough Jeep parts and accessories in Adelaide to satisfy everyone’s appetites.

Take the Jeep Grand Cherokee Adelaide, for example. Innovations and improvements to the 2011 model led to it winning 30 awards, making it the most awarded SUV ever. Modernisations, such as the available Quadra-LiftTM air suspension system allow you to adjust your vehicle’s suspension height to augment the vehicle’s inherent capabilities. Its closed-type design lets it adjust faster and more quietly than open-type systems.

But, it’s not just Jeep that has been striving to bring you the most up to date design and engineering solutions. Dodge and Chrysler have also been busy, making sure that they stay ahead of the pack in 2012. So much so, that Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler won’t need to worry about extinction any time soon.
