Adelaide Parliament House

Adelaide Parliament House is in the heart of Adelaide City Centre, on the corner of North Terrace and King William road. It is Australia's largest parliamentary building, and took around 65 years to build, between 1874 and 1939. It was built using granite and marble, and features grand Corinthian columns.
Further along North Terrace are both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. The Adelaide Festival Centre, built to house the city's famous annual arts festival, is just north. Beyond the city centre, Greater Adelaide is a relaxed, feel-good city with a population of just over a million. It has been voted Australia's most liveable city.
